She first made her appearance as a background singer in 2002, contributing vocals for the song Cherry Pie on the soundtrack of The Master of Disguise. Former boyfriend ORyans' debut music video, Take It Slow, featured her. She predominantly works with the genres of R&B Hip-Hop and Rap. In the year she teamed up in a collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake on his album, Nothing Was The Same, she gained international recognition.
