Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions until she made it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut music album called This is Tina Time. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 film. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her work in between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles, as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also was a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
