David Muir is an American anchor and journalist best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir and for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for where he acts as anchorman and co-anchor. His program with its dramatic clip of celebrities and animated gestures is now the most watched newscast in America. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. He's traveled the globe covering stories that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He's received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R.
