Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy reports. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and decided to purchase a smaller specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. Prior to selling the company it took her an entire 18 years transforming it into an extremely successful business. Numerous other books as well as magazines followed. A different hit is the Food Network Television show. Her range of items spans from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing approach to making food and hosting. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
